Looking to earn some money, build a career, or just find something productive to do? Equinox offers a wide variety of **civilian jobs** ranging from simple entry-level work to careers with progression, better payouts, and specialized opportunities. ### Find Something That Fits Your Character You don't have to treat civilian jobs as nothing more than a paycheck. It's straightforward work and a good option for characters looking for consistent employment. ### What You'll Do * Stock shelves * Organize inventory * Help maintain the store * Earn steady pay ### Application Required The Supermarket Job requires an application through a **Discord support ticket**. This can also be a great opportunity for characters interested in retail roleplay or working around other players instead of running solo jobs. Ready to head offshore? The **Oil Rig Job** is one of the more demanding civilian jobs available and comes with a larger reward to match. ### Job Requirements * **Hardhat required** * You do **not** need another player * Group rewards are multiplied * **3.5-hour cooldown** * **\$1,500 penalty** for failing to return job vehicles The Oil Rig is located just off the docks on the **extended dock area**. ### Return Your Equipment Failing to properly return job vehicles will result in a **\$1,500 penalty**. Because the job has a significant payout, the cooldown is intentionally longer than many other civilian activities. You can complete the Oil Rig alone, but bringing others can make the job more social and improve the group experience. Help build San Andreas one job at a time. Construction work involves completing contracts and performing tasks around active job sites. As you continue working, you can develop your skills and work toward better payouts. ### Job Requirements * **Hardhat required** * You do **not** need another player * **1-hour cooldown** * **\$500 penalty** for failing to return job vehicles Remember to return any vehicles or equipment issued by the job. Failure to return job vehicles will result in a **\$500 penalty**. Construction is a solid option for characters who want more hands-on work without needing a group. Take the job to new heights. The Window Cleaning job sends you around the city cleaning the windows of high-rise buildings. The work is simple to get into, but some locations will put you a long way above street level. ### Cooldown Window Cleaning has a **20-minute cooldown** between jobs. The higher you go, the better the view. Just try not to test how quickly gravity gets you back to the ground. Somebody has to keep San Andreas clean. The **Sanitation Job** lets you work routes throughout the city collecting trash and building a career within the sanitation system. ### Career Progression As you continue working, you can: * Complete sanitation routes * Earn consistent income * Receive efficiency bonuses * Build progression * Unlock additional routes ### More Than One Route Sanitation includes progression, allowing experienced workers to unlock new opportunities as they continue their career. It's simple work to begin with and gives you something to steadily progress over time. Keep the city moving. Head to the **Bus Depot**, clock in, and begin transporting passengers across available routes. ### Bus Career As you work, you can: * Complete routes * Transport clients * Earn tips * Gain experience * Unlock additional clients * Progress through the bus-driving system The Bus Job includes its own progression system, so continuing to drive can unlock additional opportunities and rewards. Driving the bus is also an easy way to interact with characters you might never normally meet. Hot food. Fast delivery. Hopefully a decent tip. The **Pizza Delivery Job** sends you across the city delivering customer orders. Your earnings can be influenced by how well you perform. ### What Matters * Delivery speed * Accuracy * Completing your orders * Getting the food where it needs to go The quicker and more accurately you complete deliveries, the better your earning potential. Just remember — getting there quickly doesn't help much if you total the delivery vehicle on the way. Prefer packages over pizza? Head to the **GoPostal Warehouse**, clock in, and begin delivering packages throughout San Andreas. ### Choose Your Workload GoPostal allows you to take on different delivery routes and choose how much work you're ready to handle. Your earnings can depend on: * Route distance * Efficiency * Consistency * Completed deliveries * Overall workload GoPostal is a good option if you want a straightforward delivery job that lets you choose how much work you're taking on. Hit the highway and start moving freight. The **Trucking Job** offers long-distance delivery work throughout San Andreas. Larger and more demanding deliveries can offer larger payouts, but you'll need patience and decent driving skills to complete them efficiently. ### What to Expect * Long-haul routes * Different delivery distances * Larger cargo loads * Increased payouts for bigger jobs * Plenty of time on the road Trucking is perfect for characters who enjoy driving and don't mind spending some time outside Los Santos. Sometimes simple work is exactly what you need. The **Newspaper Delivery Job** gives you quick routes and reliable work delivering the daily news around the city. ### Why Try It? * Easy to understand * Quick routes * Consistent earnings * Good entry-level work Newspaper delivery is a straightforward option for characters looking to make some money without committing to a larger career system. Want to help stranded drivers and clean abandoned vehicles off the streets? Head to the **Tow Yard near Mission Row** and pick up a flatbed. Once you're ready, use `/towdriver` to open your Tow Driver tablet and begin accepting available jobs. ### Player Tow Requests Players can request assistance using `/requesttow`. These requests will appear at the **top of your available job list**. ### Tow Work Comes From Two Sources You can receive: * Standard tow jobs * Player-requested tow calls Player requests are prioritized at the top of your tablet. Treat player tow requests as actual service calls. Talk to the customer, figure out what happened, and make the interaction more than simply loading a vehicle onto the truck. Become one of the people responsible for telling San Andreas what's happening. The **Weazel News Job** lets you work as an independent journalist covering stories throughout the city. You can: * Chase breaking news * Conduct interviews * Capture footage * Receive anonymous tips * Cover public events * Build a reputation as a journalist Learn how to get the job, use the reporting tools, operate the camera, and receive anonymous tips. Head over to **Downtown Cab Co.** and start picking up fares. The Taxi Job lets you transport customers around San Andreas while progressing through your career. ### Taxi Progression You can: * Pick up customers * Complete fares * Earn money * Level up your service * Unlock improved rewards * Receive daily bonus opportunities Showing up regularly can earn you additional **daily bonus payouts**. Taxi driving can create some of the easiest spontaneous roleplay in the city. Every passenger is a potential conversation, customer, contact, or future storyline. Looking for something with a little more risk? **Gruppe 6** handles secure deliveries throughout San Andreas. Your work may involve restocking: * ATMs * Banks * Private clients * Other secure locations But there's a problem. Someone has been **leaking the routes**. ### Your Routes May Be Targeted Gruppe 6 deliveries can become targets for criminals. Stay aware of what's happening around you while completing secure deliveries. ### Want Additional Protection? You may be able to obtain **security certification through the Police Department**. Head to the Police Department if your character is interested in becoming properly certified for security work. This job can become much more than a delivery route when criminals decide they want what you're transporting. *** # Jobs With Progression Several civilian careers offer more than a single repeatable route. They allow you to build experience, unlock additional opportunities, or improve your earning potential over time. Progress through your sanitation career and unlock additional routes. Level up, unlock new clients, and improve your transportation career. Continue completing work to improve your skills and earning potential. Showing up without the required equipment is a good way to make a very short workday. *** # Work Alone or With Others Not every civilian job requires a group. Some jobs are designed to work perfectly fine solo, while others become much more enjoyable when you bring friends or interact with other players. ### Specifically Confirmed Solo Jobs The following jobs do **not** require another player: * Oil Rig * Construction The Oil Rig also provides multiplied group rewards when working together. *** # Don't Just Chase the Highest Paycheck Different jobs exist for different reasons. One might offer better money. Another might have stronger progression. Another might introduce your character to people they would never normally meet. A good civilian career can become part of your character's identity. Maybe you're: * The taxi driver everybody knows * A trucker who's always on the road * The tow operator everybody calls * A career sanitation worker * A reporter chasing every story * A construction worker trying to start a company * A Gruppe 6 driver constantly getting targeted * A supermarket employee who's somehow involved in everyone's business ### Jobs Create Roleplay The paycheck gives you a reason to show up. **The people you meet while working are what turn it into a story.** Try different jobs. Build a career. Meet people. And eventually find the kind of work that actually fits your character.
