# Collectables
> Explore Equinox collectables, complete sticker sets, hunt down hidden trinkets, and compete with other collectors.
Looking for something to do that doesn't involve working, committing crimes, or getting chased by the police?
**Go hunting for collectables.**
Equinox includes a collection system built around exploration, discovery, and completing sets of unique items scattered throughout the world.
### Start Your Collection
Find collectables throughout San Andreas, add them to your **Sticker Book**, complete sets, and compare your progress with other collectors.
Some will be easy to find.
Others may take a little more exploring.
That's the fun of it.

# The Sticker Book
Your **Sticker Book** is where you can keep track of everything you've collected.
It gives you a visual record of:
* Items you've already discovered
* Collectables you're still missing
* Available collections
* Completed sets
* Your overall progress
### Don't Expect to Finish Everything Immediately
Collectables are meant to give you something to discover over time.
Explore the city, revisit places you haven't been in a while, and keep your eyes open.

# Track Your Progress
As you discover more collectables, your Sticker Book will continue filling in.
You can use it to figure out:
* Which items you've already found
* Which items are still missing
* How close you are to completing a collection
* What sets you may want to focus on next

# Discover New Collectables
Every item you find gets you one step closer to filling out your collection.
The point isn't to have every location handed to you.
Part of the system is the **scavenger hunt itself**.

# Collectable Sets
Collectables are organized into **sets**.
Instead of simply finding random items with no connection to one another, you can work toward completing entire themed collections.
Explore San Andreas and keep an eye out for collectables hidden throughout the world.
Fill in entire collections instead of stopping after finding only a few items.
Use your Sticker Book to see what you've found and what you're still looking for.
Compare collections and see who can complete their Sticker Book first.

# Finding Collectables
Collectables can turn places you normally drive straight past into somewhere worth exploring.
### Explore Somewhere New
If you spend all of your time following the same roads between the same locations, you're probably going to miss things.
Get out of the city.
Check unusual areas.
Explore places your character normally has no reason to visit.

# Add Them to Your Collection
Once you've successfully discovered a collectable, it'll become part of your collection.
### One More Down
Every new discovery gets you closer to completing the corresponding set.
And then, naturally, you'll start obsessing over the **one sticker you're still missing**.

# Make It Competitive
Nothing says collecting needs to be a solo activity.
Grab some friends and make something out of it.
You could:
* Race to complete a particular set
* Compare Sticker Books
* See who can find the most in one day
* Trade hints without giving exact locations
* Organize scavenger hunts
* Explore different parts of the map together
* Compete to complete every available collection
Try not to immediately post every collectable location publicly.
The hunt becomes a lot less interesting when the entire system turns into following a list of coordinates.

Collectables are meant to give you another reason to **slow down and explore Equinox**.
You don't need a waypoint.
You don't need a mission.
You don't need to maximize a payout.
Sometimes you just need to notice something hiding somewhere you normally wouldn't look.

Then make sure your friends know your Sticker Book is better than theirs.
