# Official Discord Server Rules

By submitting your **Allowlist Application** and joining **Equinox Roleplay**, you agree to follow both our **community rules** and the rules below. These apply to all members, in all channels.

Violations may result in warnings, mutes, kicks, or bans from the Discord and the game server.

### **General Rules**

1. **Follow Discord’s ToS & Guidelines**

2. **Respect Others**
   * Derogatory speech of any kind is not tolerated.
   * This includes racial, homophobic, hate-based, or discriminatory remarks.
   * Applies to this Discord **and** any gang/business Discords tied to Equinox.
3. **Respect Staff**
   * Staff volunteer their time to support the community.
   * Harassing, flaming, or berating staff will result in tickets being closed and potential removal.
   * Do not ping or tag staff unnecessarily (even in tickets). We see everything and will respond as soon as possible.
4. **Content Standards**
   * Keep all posts in the appropriate channels.
   * No NSFW, gore, or excessively graphic content.
   * No political, religious, or controversial discussions. This Discord is for roleplay and community fun.
5. **Advertising & Promotions**
   * No self-promotion or advertising other communities, businesses, or servers unless staff-approved.
6. **IC vs OOC**
   * Information posted in Discord should **not** be used in-game unless it is explicitly marked as **in-character (IC)** (e.g., “Emails” channels).
   * Metagaming Discord info into RP is a bannable offense.
7. **Reports & Evidence**
   * Reports without sufficient evidence may be closed without action.
   * Player reports require a **clip or evidence** from your own POV.
   * Do not use third-party streams or clips from others as primary evidence.
