# Official Equinox Rules

Listed in this section is our up-to-date rules

Rules are always subject to change as the community develops and grows. Announcements in the Discord will highlight any updates, but it is each player’s **responsibility** to stay informed and abide by them.

### **Enforcement**

* Ignorance of the rules is **not** an excuse.
* Rules are enforced by **Equinox Staff** with discretion to preserve fairness and immersion.
* Punishments range from warnings to permanent bans depending on severity.
* Discord and in-game rule violations may carry over between platforms.
