Ready to enter the city? Connecting to Equinox Roleplay only takes a few steps.

Before You Connect

Make sure you:
  • Are 17 years of age or older
  • Are a member of the Equinox Roleplay Discord
  • Have FiveM installed and ready to play
  • Meet the required FiveM Pure Mode settings
Equinox is not whitelist-only. You do not need to complete an application before creating a character and beginning to play.

Join the Server

Find Us on FiveM

Open FiveM, search for Equinox Roleplay, select the server, and connect.

Direct Connect

Visit the #connect channel in the Equinox Discord and use the provided Direct Connect link.
Using the Direct Connect link from Discord is usually the easiest way to make sure you’re joining the correct Equinox server.

Discord Is Required

Membership in the Equinox Roleplay Discord is required to connect and remain part of the community. Discord is used for:
  • Server announcements
  • Support tickets
  • Connection information
  • Applications
  • Community updates
  • Rule and documentation changes
  • Whitelisted opportunities
Leaving or losing access to the Equinox Discord may prevent you from connecting to the server.

Whitelisted Opportunities

General access to Equinox does not require an application, for now. Some roles and opportunities do require additional approval, including things such as:
  • Whitelisted business ownership
  • Official gangs or organizations
  • Law enforcement
  • Certain government or public-service positions
  • Other restricted roles
Whitelisting applies to specific roles and opportunities, not general access to Equinox Roleplay.

FiveM Pure Mode

Equinox uses FiveM Pure Mode to help prevent unauthorized or modified client files from being loaded while playing. When connecting, FiveM may automatically restart if it needs to switch to the Pure Mode level required by the server.
A FiveM restart while connecting does not necessarily mean something is wrong. FiveM may simply be changing to the Pure Mode configuration required by Equinox.

Launch FiveM in Pure Mode

If you regularly play on Equinox, you can configure a FiveM shortcut to launch directly into the required Pure Mode.

Locate FiveM

Press Windows Key + R, enter %localappdata%\FiveM, and press Enter.Locate FiveM.exe.

Create a Shortcut

Right-click FiveM.exe and select Create shortcut.Move the shortcut somewhere convenient, such as your desktop.

Open Shortcut Properties

Right-click the FiveM shortcut and select Properties.

Add Pure Mode

In the Target field, add the required Pure Mode option after the existing path.For Pure Mode 1:
Make sure there is a space between FiveM.exe and -pure_1.

Save the Shortcut

Select Apply, then OK.Launch FiveM using this shortcut when playing on Equinox.
FiveM officially supports launching directly into a selected Pure Mode level using the -pure_X shortcut argument.

Having Trouble Connecting?

Try these basic steps first:
  1. Completely close FiveM and reopen it.
  2. Make sure Discord is running and you’re still a member of the Equinox Discord.
  3. Try connecting using the Direct Connect link in #connect.
  4. Allow FiveM to restart if it needs to change Pure Mode.
  5. Restart your computer if FiveM continues failing to connect.
If you’re still unable to connect, open a support ticket in the Equinox Discord and include any error message you’re receiving.
