Crafting is a major part of progression throughout Equinox Roleplay. From everyday supplies and medical equipment to electronics and specialized criminal equipment, crafting gives you another way to obtain useful items without simply purchasing everything from a store.

Crafting Is About Exploration & Progression

Some benches are available publicly and can be used by anyone.Others are intentionally hidden and must be discovered in character through exploration, connections, and roleplay.

Public Crafting Benches

There are currently two primary General Crafting locations that are available to everyone. These benches provide access to:
  • General Crafting
  • General Medical Crafting
  • Electronics

Postal: 2010Access general crafting, medical recipes, and electronics.
If you’re just getting started with crafting, these two public benches are the best place to begin.

General Crafting

General Crafting covers many of the everyday recipes available to players. Depending on the recipe, you may need to gather or purchase specific materials before the item can be created.

Check the Bench

Interact with a crafting bench to see:
  • Available recipes
  • Required materials
  • Crafting requirements
  • Items you currently have available
Not every recipe in Equinox is available at every bench. The type of bench you’re using matters.

Medical Crafting

The public crafting locations also provide access to General Medical recipes. These recipes allow players to create certain medical-related supplies from the appropriate materials.

General Medical Crafting

Medical crafting is available through both public General Crafting locations.
General Medical Crafting should not be confused with any specialized department or restricted medical equipment that may exist elsewhere in the server.

Electronics

Both public crafting locations also include access to Electronics Crafting. Electronics can become useful throughout several different systems in Equinox.

Electronics Crafting

Gather the required components and use the public crafting benches to access available electronics recipes.
Don’t immediately throw away unfamiliar electronic components.Some materials that look useless at first may become important once you discover additional recipes or systems.

Specialty Crafting Benches

Not every crafting bench is marked on the map. Several specialized benches are hidden throughout San Andreas and are intended to be discovered through in-character gameplay.

Exact locations for specialty crafting benches will not be provided in this guide.Find them through roleplay, exploration, criminal connections, or information learned naturally in the city.

Criminal Benches

Criminal benches provide access to recipes intended for characters involved in criminal progression.

Criminal Crafting

Don’t expect the guide to tell you where they are. Talk to people. Build relationships. Ask the right questions. And pay attention to what other criminals are using.

Hacking Benches

Hacking benches are dedicated to equipment associated with more technical systems.

If your character wants to move deeper into technical crime, finding the right people may be just as important as finding the bench itself.

Specialized knife crafting has its own dedicated benches.

Weapon crafting is separated from normal public crafting. There are multiple levels of specialized weapon benches available throughout the city.

Access to a weapon crafting bench does not automatically mean your character can craft everything.Recipes may still require specific materials, progression, or other prerequisites.

As the name suggests, these benches provide access to a much broader range of crafting opportunities than ordinary locations. Finding one should feel significant.

Hidden crafting locations give players something worth discovering, protecting, sharing, selling, or keeping secret.That’s part of the economy surrounding them.

Finding Hidden Benches

We’re intentionally not giving you a map with every crafting location. That’s not an oversight. It’s part of the progression. You may discover benches by:
  • Talking to other characters
  • Building criminal connections
  • Exploring unusual locations
  • Working with organizations
  • Buying or trading information
  • Following clues
  • Simply stumbling into something you weren’t expecting

Information Has Value

If your character learns the location of a rare crafting bench, think before immediately telling everyone in the city.Knowledge can be just as valuable as the items being crafted.

Keep Your Materials

Crafting relies heavily on materials and components gathered throughout other activities. Before throwing something away because you don’t immediately recognize it, consider whether it might be useful later.

Collect Materials

Hold onto useful components gathered from jobs, activities, and exploration.

Visit crafting benches to see what materials your current recipes require.

Explore

Public benches are only the beginning. Specialized crafting exists elsewhere.

Build Connections

Other characters may know recipes, bench locations, or sources for materials that you don’t.

Crafting isn’t meant to be a menu you completely understand on your first day. Start with the public benches. Gather materials. Learn recipes. Find new locations. Build connections. And eventually, your character may gain access to crafting opportunities most people don’t even know exist.
